Career Education
and Development
We are now going
to move on to some Career Exploration exercises for the
next several weeks. No matter how well defined you feel
your future is, it is sometimes unpredictable what direction
it will take.
To get a picture
of what can happen, this week you will interview two
people regarding the paths their careers took since they
left high school. One person could be a parent, and the
other person should be an adult friend or teacher older
than 30 years of age.
The Assignment:
Interview
two different people regarding their careers and record
their responses on the provided assignment sheets.
Ask them to
chart their career path from high school graduation to
this day, including all relevant jobs held and any education/training
time spent learning skills or knowledge.
Do this in the
form of a bulleted list as seen below.
